Costurando sonhos, criando memórias… tecendo histórias!
Costurar para resgatar e acolher… cuidar, para promover. Esse foi um dos legados que Santa Emilie nos deixou. Ela alimentou os que sentiam fome e ensinou às jovens meninas sem lar o ofício da costura, mas acima de tudo, seu ateliê visava promover a dignidade humana e esperança de um futuro melhor. Ela lhes ensinou que o trabalho é fonte de realização e poderia, ainda, lhes proporcionar uma vida digna e honesta.
As crianças do Infantil II e Preschool 2 foram convidadas a vivenciar um ateliê de costura para, com fios novos e panos, darem forma às almofadas para seus avós numa experiência que se entrelaça com suas próprias histórias e de seus avós.
Nossos pequenos costureiros expressaram suas memórias nesse coser repleto de trocas e amor, carinho e afetividade. A cada lembrança expressada num simples gesto de escolher um alfinete que lembrava os gostos de seus avós, ou pela cor, ou pelo formato ou ainda para presentear os avós com uma borboleta do alfinete ou o brilho de um outro, e prendê-lo cuidadosamente ao tecido antes de iniciar o processo de costura… Eles partilharam memórias que foram confeccionadas com fios tecidos e memórias, novas narrativas.
Tais memórias são fortalecidas pelo vínculo e afeto que fortalece os fios na costura das memórias ao viver, conviver e ressignificar passos, relações e sentimentos de vida. Uma costura de linguagens, diálogos, afetos e sentidos.

Sewing dreams, creating memories… weaving stories!
Sew to rescue and embrace… Take care, to promote. This was one of the legacies that Saint Emilie left us. She fed the hungry and taught young homeless girls the craft of sewing, but above all, her sewing workshop aimed to promote human dignity and hope for a better future. She taught people that work is a source of fulfillment and it could also provide a dignified and honest life.
Children from Infantil II and Preschool 2 were invited to experience a sewing workshop so that, with new yarns and cloths, they could shape pillows for their grandparents in an experience that intertwines their own stories to those of their grandparents.
Our little sewers expressed their memories through sewing in a moment filled with sharing and love, care and affection. Each memory is expressed through the simple gesture of choosing a pin that recalled the tastes of their grandparents by its color, shape, or even by giving them the butterfly from the pin, or the shine of another one, carefully inserted in the fabric before starting the sewing process… They shared memories that were made with woven threads and new narratives.
Such memories are strengthened by the bond and affection that strengthens the threads in the sewing of memories as they live, interact, and give new meanings to the pathways, relationships and feelings in life. A seam of languages, dialogues, affections and meanings.
