Mystery box
There was a mystery box in the middle of Grade 2’s classroom!
Everyday kids are challenged by the mystery box: a box with a mysterious item, so students must ask questions in order to find out what it is.
The object selected is related to the topic children have been learning recently and it helps them to recall some of its characteristics and other features.
Pupils learn how to ask questions by using question words such as: “Is it a living or non living thing?”, “What color is it?”, “Where can we find it?”, “What do we use it for?”.
Second graders have lots of fun and get together as a group to this collective guessing moment they love to have in the daily routine.

Caixa misteriosa
Tinha uma caixa misteriosa no meio da sala do Grade 2!
Todos os dias as crianças são desafiadas pela caixa misteriosa: uma caixa com um mistério e que os alunos devem fazer perguntas para descobrir o item que está dentro dela.
O objeto selecionado está relacionado aos tópicos que os alunos têm aprendido recentemente e isso os ajuda a rever algumas das características e outras propriedades dele.
Os alunos aprendem como fazer perguntas usando “question words” como: “É um ser vivo ou não vivo?” , “Qual é a cor?” , “ Onde podemos encontrá-lo?”, “ Para que usamos isto?”.
A turma do Grade 2 se diverte muito e os alunos se aproximam uns dos outros como grupo para este momento de adivinhação coletiva que eles amam ter na rotina.
