Grade 1 students have been exploring the idea of symmetry in different ways, experiencing it with their bodies.
So, they “mirrored” their friends, attempting to reproduce each other’s movements and gestures dancing the same way, as if they were in front of a real mirror.
When children have the opportunity to exchange their knowledge in peer collaborative activities, learning opportunities are increased. The collective knowledge grows at a much faster speed for everyone, and this is one of the best and funniest ways to learn.

Os alunos do Grade 1 têm explorado a ideia de simetria de diferentes maneiras, experimentando-a com seus corpos.
Assim, eles “espelharam” seus amigos, tentando reproduzir os movimentos e gestos uns dos outros dançando da mesma forma, como se realmente estivessem diante de um espelho.
Quando as crianças têm a oportunidade de partilhar seus conhecimentos em atividades colaborativas entre pares, as oportunidades de aprendizagem são potencializadas. O conhecimento coletivo cresce muito mais rápido para todos, e esta é uma das melhores e mais divertidas formas de aprender.
